Volunteers have one common goal: to make the patients hospital visit as comfortable and efficient as possible. Whether they are directing patients in clinics, assisting nursing staff in Emergency or serving customers in the gift shop, volunteers are an integral part of the hospital team. With over 900 adult and student volunteers across three hospital campuses, hundreds of thousands of hours are contributed each year. At William Osler Health Centre, volunteers are our number one fundraisers and throughout the past several years have contributed over a million dollars in funding for capital equipment.
